Job summary

Cynet Health's Cancer Center is seeking an RN for infusion services for a 14‑week assignment in New York. The ideal candidate has chemotherapy infusion experience, is licensed as a Client RN, and holds AHA BLS with OC N/ONS certification.

You will provide nursing care to cancer patients, perform IV insertion and phlebotomy as required, and precept new staff while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Adherence to safety protocols is essential.

Qualifications

  • Active RN license with Primary Source Verification.
  • BLS and OC N/ONS certifications.
  • Cancer Center preceptor experience.
  • Experience in chemotherapy infusion including IV insertion.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care to cancer center patients undergoing chemotherapy.
  • Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy as required.
  • Precept and mentor new staff within the cancer center.
  • Document patient progress and participate in team meetings.
  • Adhere to safety, infection control, and patient education protocols.

Experience: Two years of Med/Surg chemotherapy infusion experience

License: Client RN License, Primary Source Verification

Must-Have: Cancer Center Preceptor experience

Description:The position involves providing nursing care to patients in a Cancer Center.Candidates must have experience in chemotherapy infusion.IV insertion and phlebotomy skills are required.Candidates should possess an active Client RN license.Certification in AHA BLS is necessary.The position requires the ability to work collaboratively within a team.Strong communication skills are essential for patient interactions.Candidates must be detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks.Experience in patient education regarding chemotherapy treatments is a plus.This role will involve precepting new staff within the cancer center.Adherence to safety and infection control protocols is mandatory.Continual assessment and documentation of patient progress is expected.Participation in team meetings and collaborative care is required.Flexibility in working hours may be necessary based on patient needs.
