Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an Oncology/Infusion RN for a 13-week assignment in West Virginia. You will administer chemotherapy, monitor side effects, and care for a daily caseload of 12 patients in an infusion/outpatient setting.

RN license active with minimum 2 years of experience; BLS and chemo certifications preferred. Role requires port management, blood product administration, and handling cytotoxic spills with strict isolation precautions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oncology/Infusion RN for a 5x8 hour day shift.
• Daily caseload is 12 patients with a 1:4 nurse:patient ratio.
• Experience in infusion centers and outpatient oncology is required.
• Administer chemotherapy and manage side effects; proficiency with ports.
• Ability to handle blood products and continuous chemotherapy infusions.
• Manage cytotoxic spills and follow isolation precautions.
• Provide references from past 2 years (manager/charge nurse).
• State requested time off in submission; include all required information.

The role requires recognizing and managing side effects and demonstrating proficiency in accessing and managing ports.Skills should include the administration of blood products and continuous infusion of chemotherapy.The ideal candidate will effectively manage cytotoxic spills and understand isolation precautions.A minimum of 2 manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years are required.Candidates must state their requested time off in the submission.All required information must be included at the time of submission.
