Christus Health in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a competent nurse who practices independently in a similar clinical setting and provides routine and complex care while pursuing long-term goals. The nurse will use the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation, address psychosocial needs, administer medications, document care, and educate patients and families.

Requirements include BSN preferred, 1 year of related nursing experience preferred, BLS, and an RN

Qualifications

• Completion of nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Addresses complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process; administers medications and treatments; documents care.
• Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, family members and/or care givers.
• BLS required
• RN License in state of employment or compact
