Job summary

Planned Parenthood North Central States in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time, on-site work. The role involves performing routine health center duties within a reproductive and sexual health program, under direct supervision of the Health Center Manager.

You will support patient care, conduct histories, perform labs, provide contraceptive supplies, and assist clinicians as needed.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Minnesota
• Current BLS Certificate for healthcare providers

Responsibilities

• Interview and screen patients, conduct patient history review, document in EMR, prepare patients for examinations/procedures.
• Assess, address or triage patient complaints. Monitor patient vital signs.
• Perform routine laboratory tests including venipuncture and communicate results.
• Provide unbiased patient education on contraception options and abortion information.
• Refer patients per protocol and ensure complete documentation of care plan.
• Collaborate with clinicians and health center staff to support operations.
