Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Danville, KY is hiring a Registered Nurse to work with pediatric and/or adult patients in their homes and/or at school. The role offers hourly pay between $29 and $35 and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering nursing care, initiating plans of care, administering medications, and coordinating discharge planning as needed. Current RN license, health certificate, PPD/X-ray, and BLS are required; one year of RN experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility RN contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient/client care per nursing process.
• Initiates plan of care and requests revisions as patient needs change.
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions.
• Intervenes in response to changes in patient condition and reports to physician/supervisor.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed and documents results.
• Reviews plan of care and identifies healthcare teaching, care coordination and discharge planning needs.
