  • Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop and coordinate individualized plans of care.
  • Delegate tasks appropriately based on patient condition, staff competency, and scope of practice, and follow up to ensure care is completed safely and effectively.
  • Accurately document assessments, interventions, telemetry findings, patient responses, and other clinical information in the electronic medical record.
  • Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, evidence-based practice, and unit-based initiatives.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and support the professional development of peers.
Key Success Factors

  • Ability to safely manage and prioritize care for multiple patients in a higher-acuity environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and other members of the healthcare team.
  • Ability to work effectively and independently during the night shift while maintaining close collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
