Job summary

Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center – Fort Worth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) on the 12‑hour night shift. You will care for Cardiac, Nephrology, Hepatology, and Neurology patients in a fast‑paced but collaborative environment.

The unit offers 32 beds, patient ratios of 1:3 or 1:4 for RNs, and opportunities for ongoing education and professional growth in a culture of safety and inter‑professional teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• 1 year of Med/Surg or Tele experience (required).
• ICU/PCU experience preferred.
• RN license.
• Must have BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of starting.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑acuity nursing care in an intermediate care setting, including monitoring patients, administering IV medications, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in resident supervision, patient education, and evidence‑based practice initiatives.

Unit: Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)

Patient Population: Cardiac, Nephrology, Hepatology, Neurology

Patient Ratios: RN – 1:3 or 1:4; Clinical Support – 1:14/16

Number of Beds: 32 beds

The IMCU is a fast‑paced environment and the largest single unit at All Saints, designated for cardiac and stroke acute care. It offers exposure to a variety of patient populations, disease processes, and IV drips (e.g., heparin, Cardizem, dobutamine). Flexible preferred shift scheduling is available.

Responsibilities

Provide high‑acuity nursing care in an intermediate care setting, including monitoring patients, administering IV medications, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Participate in resident supervision, patient education, and evidence‑based practice initiatives.
