Job summary

Wesley Medical Center, located in Wichita, Kansas, is seeking a part-time RN Imaging to deliver high-quality patient care across imaging modalities including MRI, CT, Ultrasound and IR. You will oversee nursing care, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and support performance improvement initiatives.

The role requires an RN license and appropriate degrees; BLS must be obtained within 30 days of starting.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Position Summary: Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care for the department-specific patient population in accordance with the standards of nursing care and practice as defined by Wesley Medical Center and the Kansas Nurse Practice Act. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. Supports the organization vision and mission. Utilizes knowledge of patients age and culture in the provision patient care. Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care. Areas where the Imaging nurse may function include the following modalities: Diagnostic Radiology; Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI); Computed Tomography (CT); Nuclear Medicine; Ultrasound; Interventional Radiology (IR)/Vascular Interventional Radiology; Procedural Prep and Recovery Area (recovery room).
