Job summary

Houston Methodist Continuing Care Hospital, the first specialty hospital in the Houston Methodist system, offers long-term inpatient care focused on ventilator weaning, post-transplant care and other advanced techniques. Two locations serve the Katy community and Texas Medical Center, with 82 operating beds and a dedicated team of clinicians.

The RN position requires a Texas RN license (or temporary license) and BLS, plus 12 months of RN experience in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s) applicable to this role.
• Twelve months registered nurse experience in a healthcare environment.
• Texas RN license or temporary TX RN license; should obtain permanent license within 90 days. Compact license acceptable according to current Board of Nursing requirements.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Other credentials and certifications as defined by unit/service line.
