Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, FL seeks a registered nurse (RN) for the Obstetrics & Gynecology department. The role involves fast-paced patient care, re-assessment, medication administration, and collaboration with physicians and providers to support safe, high-quality care.

Requirements include an active Florida RN license, BLS/CPR certification, and at least 1 year of RN experience. BSN is preferred.

  • Min 1 year RN experience (Level II).

Responsibilities

  • Performs patient re-assessments including vital signs and plan of care.
  • Administers medications and IV therapy per hospital policy.
  • Documents orders, chart reviews, and nursing interventions.
  • Performs pre-operative care and supports perioperative processes.
  • Ensures hand hygiene and standard precautions at all times.
  • Maintains patient education and discharge planning as part of care.
