Job summary

MUHA seeks a Registered Nurse II to provide individualized patient care on a fast-paced 8W Neuroscience/General Surgery unit. You will work under general supervision, applying the nursing process to achieve safe outcomes for adults and geriatric patients.

Minimum one year RN experience with SC license and BLS certification is required; BSN preferred or enrolled within two years. The unit features private rooms and rotating three-shift schedules, with weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse.
• RN licensure by SC Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC).

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, goal-directed patient care using the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, effective care and collaborate with the health care team.
• Work on a 36-hour weekly schedule with rotating shifts.
• Care for adult and geriatric general surgery and neuroscience patients.
