The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide individualized, goal-directed patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team. The role emphasizes safe, effective care across the patient and family context, following nursing processes and principles.

Minimum requirement is an Associate degree in nursing; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Licensure in SC or a compact state, BLS, and ACLS are required.

Minimum Training and Education

Associate degree in nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations

Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
