Job summary

The Johns Hopkins Hospital Lifeline Transport Team is seeking a Registered Nurse to support critical patient transports across air, ground and in-house platforms. The role requires an ADN with RN licensure and a minimum six months of nursing experience, with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 advanced life support and critical care transport.
• Carry out air, ground and in-house patient transports.
• Contribute to a multidisciplinary team in emergency services.

Weekly Working Hours: 40 hours per week

The Johns Hopkins Hospital Lifeline Transport Team is an integral part of The Department of Emergency Services. The Department of Emergency Services is a designated Level 1 Adult Trauma Center, regional Pediatric Trauma Center, Eye Trauma Center, Stroke Center, and Cardiac Center for the state of Maryland. The Lifeline team executes thousands of air, ground and in-house patient transports yearly and assists in preserving the lives of our most critically ill patients during these transports. Lifeline’s mission is to bring 24/7 advanced life support and critical care services to The Johns Hopkins community.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) (Required),
• Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) (Preferred) and
• Applicants with an associate degree in nursing will be considered. Per nursing guidelines, must matriculate into a Bachelor of Nursing program.
• RN - Registered Nurse License (Required)
• CPR - Basic CPR (Required)
• Minimum six (6) months of nursing experience (Required)
• 1 year of nursing experience (Preferred)
• 2 to 3 years of ICU/ Critical Care experience (Preferred)

Salary Range: Minimum 39.64/hour - Maximum 64.45/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
