Job summary

Arkansas Children's seeks a Registered Nurse for the Cardiology Clinic. This full-time, day-shift role runs Monday through Friday, 8:30am–5pm, serving patients and families with comprehensive, family-centered nursing care.

The RN provides assessment, planning, and execution of care, documents hand-offs, and participates in rounds and care planning with the interdisciplinary team. Education and safety are emphasized within the AC model.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or nursing diploma required.
• RN license in Arkansas or Compact State.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing recommended.
• 1 year of nursing experience recommended; performance at previous level.
• Certification specific to patient population recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent nursing care to patients and families.
• Use assessment, planning, prioritization, and clinical judgment to manage routine and unexpected situations.
• Document communications and hand-offs clearly in the chart.
• Participate in rounds and interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide patient and family education and support based on needs.
