Job summary

Mercy is hiring for an ICU Step Down RN in Oklahoma City. This high-energy 32-bed unit supports patients transitioning from Intensive Care with a focus on neurological, medical, and surgical cases within a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center program.

We offer a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 for experienced nurses. Not currently accepting applications for new graduate nurses. Join a healing ministry that values compassionate care and innovative practices.

Qualifications

• Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school.
• Preferred Education: BSN preferred but ADN acceptable.
• License: Must obtain and maintain a current RN license in the hiring state/compact.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.

Overview:

This high-energy 32-bed unit is in the critical care service line, which serves patients transitioning out of Intensive Care and/or patients requiring a higher level of care. Our higher acuity population is primarily comprised of neurological, medical, and surgical patients. With our neurological specialty, we are a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center program.

Qualifications:

• Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school
• Preferred Education: Prefer BSN but ADN is acceptable
• License: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
