Job summary

UCHealth is seeking an RN to join the ICU/PCU team in Aurora, CO for a full-time, on-site role. The position requires acute care ICU experience, active RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS certification.

The nurse will provide direct patient care in a technically complex environment with multidisciplinary collaboration. Role includes precepting new staff, maintaining high standards of safety, and contributing to evidenced-based practice in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and licensed RN.
• Minimum 6 months ICU/PCU RN experience or completion of UCHealth Fellowship.
• Current BLS/CPR certification through AHA or Red Cross, valid through start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in ICU using the nursing process and a multidisciplinary team approach.
• Prioritize patient safety and quality of care while supporting evidence-based practice.
• Precept and mentor new staff and learners to ensure competency validation.

Work Schedule: Full Time, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Day and Night Rotation

Pay: $35.29 - $54.71 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant‘s relevant experience

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program. State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).6 months of ICU and/or PCU nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.ACLSBLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
