Job summary

AdventHealth Riverview, FL is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a night shift in a critical care setting. The role emphasizes comprehensive patient assessments, tailored care plans, and skilled medication administration in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, document thoroughly in the Cerner/EPIC EMR, and provide education to patients and families while upholding highest standards of safety and compassion.

Qualifications

• RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Experience in critical care preferred (ICU/CCU)
• Be proficient with Cerner or EPIC EMR systems

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings.

Job Description:

• Up to $15K Sign on Bonus

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
