Baylor Scott & White Health is hiring a Full-Time Registered Nurse for the Pflugerville Medical Center. This role requires IMC/ICU experience and involves overseeing patient care, conducting clinical assessments, and collaborating on care plans. Facility: Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Pflugerville
Shift/Status: Full Time
Schedule: Night Shift (7pm – 7am)
Candidates must have IMC/ICU experience. This is mixed acuity unit. Candidates must be willing to take assignments in Med/Surg, Tele, IMC, or ICU as needed by the department.
Patient Population: Medical Surgical, Orthopedics, Intermediate Care, Critical Care
# of beds: 25, with the anticipation of doubling in size with the expansion
Patient Ratios: Med Surg/Tele – 1:4/5, Progressive Care/Intermediate Care – 1:3, Intensive Care – 1:2

As a Registered Nurse, oversee patient care using a professional practice model. Responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses. Secure patient travel. Know about patient needs in healthcare. Help patients and prevent issues. Follow the Texas Nursing Practice Act and delegate tasks based on condition and team competencies.
