Job summary

The George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC is seeking a registered nurse to provide safe, competent nursing care in line with facility policies and patient-centered care principles. You will lead and support the healthcare team while exemplifying service excellence in daily practice.

Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited RN program, a current state nursing license, BLS, and ACLS/PALS/NRP (or within three months).

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
  • ACLS, PALS, or NRP (or obtained within three months of employment) in required specialty.
  • BLS
  • Current state nursing license.
  • Prefer one year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting.

Position Summary

Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
