Job summary

Atlas MedStaff is seeking an experienced ICU travel nurse for a 13-week assignment in Mattoon, Illinois. You’ll care for adult patients 16+ with sepsis, shock, DKA, AKI, strokes, and ventilator or tracheostomy needs, in a 14-bed unit, with 40-hour weeks and variable shifts.

ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certification are required, CCRN preferred. The role offers exposure to advanced procedures and floating to PCU or Med/Surg as needed, joining a dedicated ICU team.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certification required.
• CCRN certification preferred but not mandatory.
• Clinical experience in adult ICU critical care settings is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive care to adults aged 16+ with conditions such as sepsis, shock, DKA, AKI, strokes, and ventilator/tracheostomy support.
• Collaborate with ICU team and float to PCU or Med/Surg units as needed.
• Support 24/7 patient care in a 14-bed unit with variable shifts during a 40-hour work week.
