Job summary

Atlas MedStaff LLC seeks an ICU RN traveler for a 13-week night shift at a Level 1 Trauma Teaching Hospital in Macon, GA. You will deliver high-acuity critical care to ICU patients and support a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include managing ventilators, invasive lines, and vasoactive medications, with close monitoring and collaboration with hospitalists and intensivists. Travel nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in GA or compact state.
• 2+ years ICU experience.

This ICU RN contract offers a challenging opportunity in a high-volume Level 1 Trauma Teaching Hospital with 637 licensed beds. As a night shift traveler, you will provide specialized critical care for medical ICU patients suffering from conditions like respiratory failure, sepsis, and stroke. Your focus will be on managing invasive lines, ventilators, and vasoactive medications, often working with unstable patients requiring close monitoring and advanced interventions. The role includes a busy but collaborative team environment, where your skills in trach care, chest tube management, and utilizing monitoring equipment will be essential in delivering quality patient care. Expect working alongside hospitalists, intensivists, and a supportive resource team, with a brief but thorough orientation to get you acclimated.
