Baton Rouge General Medical Center is seeking an experienced RN for a Critical Care role. You will deliver expert patient care in a fast-paced environment, assessing critically ill patients and coordinating with physicians to achieve the best outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN with current Louisiana Nursing License
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Critical care experience
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Provide expert patient care in a Critical Care setting, ensuring high-quality outcomes
• Perform thorough assessments and implement care plans according to AACN standards
• Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Participate in the Essentials of Critical Care Orientation (ECCO) training program within the first year
• Continuously monitor, evaluate, and adjust care plans for critically ill patients
• Maintain high standards of safety and infection control
• Demonstrate a commitment to patient care and professional growth
