Origin Travel Nurses in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Neuro ICU to deliver patient care using the nursing process in a high-acuity setting. You will coordinate care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and participate in performance improvement while maintaining patient confidentiality.

The role requires BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certification and an Oklahoma or Compact RN license; experience with EVD/ventilator/stroke management and Epic charting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience preferred.
• Must be BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certified.
• Valid Oklahoma or Compact RN license required at the time of submission.
• Experience with EVD management, ventilator management, and stroke management.
• Epic charting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards.
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
• Contribute to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques.
• Collect and analyze patient health data to identify problems and develop individualized plans of care.
• Implement interventions and evaluate patient progress toward attainment of expected outcomes.
• Assist with discharge planning and provide education to patients and significant others about illness and injury prevention.
• Maintain confidentiality of all information and perform additional duties as assigned.
