Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of acute care experience required or hired through the RN Versant program.
  • Registered Nurse: CA license required upon hire.
  • Basic Life Support - CPR (American Heart Association)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support - ACLS (American Heart Association)

Responsibilities

  • Perform patient assessment/reassessment, including shift handoffs and history taking.
  • Ensure ICU Bundle is followed and participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds.
  • Complete documentation accurately in electronic and paper formats.
  • Provide direct patient care and assist physicians with procedures as needed.
  • Report changes in patient condition to the physician.

Job Summary And Responsibilities

As our Registered Nurse (RN) in the ICU department, you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well‑being and recovery. Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. Responsibilites
  • Perform patient assessment/reassessment, including giving or receiving comprehensive change of shift and intermittent report, obtaining the nursing history, conducting a physical assessment, establishing priorities for care.
  • Assures that ICU Bundle is followed with every patient. Completes multidisciplinary rounding tool daily.
  • Completes both computer and hand written documentation using correct format in an accurate, precise, timely, legible and complete manner .
  • Provide direct patient care, as required. Assist physician with procedures, as necessary.
  • Report changes in patient's condition to physician.
Job Requirements
  • Other Education level necessary to obtain required licensure and certifications
  • 1-2 years of previous acute care experience required or hired through the RN Versant program.,
