Job summary

Vitalant in Oakland, Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking an RN I Research to join the Hemophilia Center of Western Pennsylvania. This role blends hands-on nursing with clinical study support, including patient recruitment, consent, visits, and lab work.

Candidates must hold an active PA RN license with 1–2 years of nursing experience; research experience is preferred but not required. Onsite Monday–Friday, benefits include medical/dental/vision and 401(k) with 5% match.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania required.
• 1–2 years of hands-on nursing experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn clinical research processes and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day activities for clinical research studies.
• Schedule patient visits and assist with research recruitment.
• Obtain informed consent and maintain confidential files.
• Coordinate laboratory testing and specimen collection.
• Perform RN-licensed procedures and support the Research Coordinator.
