Job summary

Bassett Healthcare Network in New York, NY is hiring a Registered Nurse I, Acute Care to deliver safe patient care using the nursing process. You will assess, plan, deliver, coordinate, and evaluate care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

This RN I role targets new graduates within their first year; you will complete the Nurse Residency program and progress toward RN II within 12-15 months. All duties emphasize safety, documentation, and patient advocacy.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in New York state or valid interim permit.
• New graduate or less than one year of RN experience.
• Enrollment in BSN or BSN completed is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care utilizing the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate and evaluate care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support patients.
• Document accurately and adhere to standards and ethics.
• Provide patient advocacy and maintain safety and quality.
