Jefferson Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Per Diem Procedural Pool at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals in Philadelphia. The role involves providing high-quality nursing care, performing procedures, and coordinating care across units.

Requirements include an RN license, BLS, ACLS, and a minimum of 2 years ICU experience; BSN preferred. Per diem shifts and a flexible schedule support work-life balance in a dynamic hospital environment.

Qualifications

• RN license required or state license in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification required or preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of direct ICU experience.
• Procedural experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs patient procedures within the nursing scope of practice.
• Manages safe medication administration and monitors patient responses.
• Participates in reviewing and implementing clinical pathways and care coordination.
• Float to all Procedural Units in the Central Region.

Job Description

Schedule Commitment

Schedules are available 6 weeks in advance. The work schedule commitment for this position requires the following:

• Must be able to work 60 hours in a 6 week period
• Must be able to work 1 - 10 hour shift per week
• Holiday commitment consists of 1 holiday per season

Responsibilities

• As a registered nurse, responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Performs patient procedures within the nursing scope of practice.
• Practices safe medication administration and assesses patient responses to medication.
• Participates in reviewing and/or implementing clinical pathways and care coordination
• Float to all Procedural Units in the Central Region

Qualifications

To qualify as registered nurse, you must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• BSN Degree preferred
• State Issued RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• ACLS
• Must have minimum 2 years of DIRECT ICU EXP.
• Procedural Exp. Preferred
