Job summary

Providence at Home with Compassus seeks an on-call Hospice RN to provide after-hours and weekend hospice care in Portland-East, OR. This role supports patient comfort, family education, and compassionate care in a home setting within a bargaining-unit environment.

Two years RN experience preferred, active RN license in Oregon, CPR and BCLS, and willingness to flex schedule including weekends or 7-on/7-off cycles. Competitive pay and full benefits offered.

How you’ll make an impact as a Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse / RN

• Provide hospice patient care after-hours and weekend, as needs arise for our patients
• Enable patients to spend quality time with their loved ones and doing the activities they enjoy
• Build trusting compassionate relationships with your patients and their families
• Empower caregivers by educating them on care for their loved one
• Help the patient and family maintain their maximum level of comfort and coping for after-hours emergency support

Requirements

• RN license in the state you work
• Two years of experience as a registered nurse, hospice experience preferred
• Current driver’s license
• Current CPR and BCLS certification
• Flex your schedule to meet agency-staffing needs. Typical schedules may include weekends only, weeknights only, or seven days on, seven days off

Compensation

The current compensation range for this position is $53.27 – $74.30 per hour. The specific rate of pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on relevant education, training, experience, geographic location, and other position-related factors. Compassus does not inquire about, consider, or rely upon an applicant's prior salary history in determining compensation. In addition to base compensation for the position, an employee working in this position may be eligible for pay differentials based on hours, shifts worked, or other criteria. They may also qualify for bonuses under applicable bonus programs or at Compassus’s discretion, as well as other forms of variable pay under relevant company policies.A summary of applicable pay programs will be provided during the offer process.
