Job summary

MultiCare Hospice in Tacoma, WA is seeking an RN to join a compassionate hospice team. This is a full-time evening shift opportunity that leverages your specialized nursing skills within a multidisciplinary setting.

You will organize patient care using the nursing process, collaborate with the care team to enhance quality of care and patient experience, and support patients and families while upholding ethical, holistic care principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent
• Advanced Nursing degree preferred
• Current WA RN license (or MLS)
• BLS Certification required
• National Certification in Hospice and Palliative Nursing preferred
• 1 year Home Health or Hospice experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis
• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies and procedures
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience, and cost management
• Foster a learning environment for patients, families, nursing staff and health care team

As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $109,262.40 - $194,251.20 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
