Job summary

The Ohio State University James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute is seeking a Staff Nurse (RN) in Hematology to manage and coordinate nursing care for patients with blood cancers, including lymphoma and multiple myeloma. You will assess patient needs, develop care plans, and supervise other team members on a rotating shift.

Applicants should hold a nursing degree from a CCNE/ACEN accredited program and a current Ohio nursing license.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing from CCNE or ACEN accredited program.
• Current Ohio license or interim permit.
• Experience in relevant care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, delegate and evaluate nursing care for patients and families.
• Direct and supervise nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team.
• Align nursing actions with the professional practice model to achieve positive patient outcomes.
