Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking Registered Nurses for a full-time night shift at Temple, TX-based Memorial Hospital. The 36-hour weekly schedule runs 7pm–7am in a telemetry-monitored unit focusing on oncology/hematology care, including chemo administration, surgery support, and complex monitoring.

Qualified applicants are graduates from accredited programs, licensed RNs, and must obtain BLS within 30 days.

• RN license.
• Specialized field of study should be nursing.
• Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.

Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital is a 636-bed specialty care teaching hospital and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin.

Why Oncology/Hematology?

This 38-bed Telemetry Monitored Nursing Unit Provides The Opportunity To Work With a Wide Variety Of Patients Ranging In Age From Adults To Geriatrics. The Conditions That Are Within The Scope Of Service For 8 North Include But Are Not Limited To The Following

• Medical Oncology
• High Dose Chemotherapy with Autologous Stem Cell Transplant
• CAR T Cell Therapy
• Administration of Chemotherapy, Biotherapy, and Monoclonal Antibodies
• Surgical Oncology
• Gynecologic Oncology
• Administration of Radiation Therapy
• Hematologic Disorders (Sickle Cell Crisis, Aplastic Anemia, Thalassemia, Thrombocytopenia)
• Continuous Cardiac Monitoring (Telemetry)
