Job summary

A healthcare provider has an opening for a Registered Nurse – Hematology at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, NV. The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, be licensed as a Registered Nurse, and possess Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications. Previous experience in an infusion center and specific chemotherapy biotherapy certification is required. This full-time position offers regular hours from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months experience in an infusion center/clinic.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within a clinical setting at Nellis Air Force Base.
• Administer medications and monitor patient conditions.
• Obtain necessary certifications within the stipulated time frame.

Hours

M-F 0700 - 1600

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing from a college or university accredited by NLNAC or CCNE.
• Registered Nurses (RN) licensed in any state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification.

Experience Required

Graduate from an academic program accredited by a regional or national nursing accrediting agency recognized by ACEN or CCNE. Must have been employed in an infusion center/clinic within the past 24 months, with at least 12 months experience. ACLS – Oncology Nursing Society (ONS)/Oncology Nursing Corporation (ONCC) Chemotherapy Biotherapy certification is required at hire or must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
