Compensation

• Salary: $75,000 - 90,000 / yr
• Full-time (Monday - Friday)

Responsibilities

• Accredit or certify long‑term care facilities serving residents statewide.
• Lead the survey process, independently managing priorities and decision‑making.
• Travel up to 75% of the time on a regular basis.
• Openly discuss conflicts, and seek assistance when appropriate to resolve conflicts.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Successfully completed CMS’s Long‑Term Care Basic Training and passed the Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT).
• At least two (2) years of recent experience as a surveyor accrediting or certifying long‑term care facilities.
• Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Demonstrated history of independent decision‑making and effective management of the survey process.
• Ability to set priorities independently and collaboratively in performing survey tasks.
