Job summary

Health, Inc in Missouri is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide high-acuity post-operative and critical care in a 28-bed monitored unit. You will apply the nursing process, coordinate care across departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality.

Collaborating with Neuro Trauma PCU and ICUs, you have opportunities for cross-training and advancement within ICU pathways while maintaining standards and accountability.

Qualifications

• Graduate from accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN).
• Maintain current RN licensure and meet state requirements.
• Obtain Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire; additional certifications may be required.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform manual tasks such as reaching, bending, and kneeling.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-acuity care to critically ill post-operative cardiothoracic, vascular, and medical overflow patients in a fully monitored 28-bed unit.
• Manage therapies such as chest tubes, lytic therapy, antidysrhythmics, vasopressors, Bipap, insulin drips, and sedatives.
• Collaborate with Neuro Trauma PCU and ICUs, participate in cross-training opportunities, and pursue career advancement within ICU pathways.
