Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation in Memphis is seeking a skilled RN to coordinate patient care using the nursing process. You will assess patients, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and evaluate outcomes while providing education to patients and families.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with active license in Tennessee; BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• Proven ability to apply nursing knowledge to patient care and education.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the patient and develops the plan of care.
• Implements the plan of care and administers medications as prescribed.
• Evaluates patient progress and adjusts care as needed.

The nursing process forms the foundation of the nurse's decision making to help partner with patients/families to attain, maintain and restore health whenever possible.
