Job summary

StoneBridge DeSoto is seeking a Registered Nurse to oversee nursing care for residents in our Desoto, Missouri home. The RN will coordinate and supervise the nursing team, administer medications, and implement physician orders with a focus on compassionate geriatric care.

The role requires an active MO RN license, CPR certification, and prior long-term care experience. We offer a $7,500 sign-on bonus for full-time new hires and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must have a current state license to practice as a registered nurse (RN).
• Current CPR certification and additional certification in nursing specialty desired.
• Prefer 2 years’ experience in a long-term care setting.
• Basic computer skills and experience with Electronic Medical Records.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing care provided by nursing assistants and others for whom they are administratively or professionally responsible.
• Plans, assigns, and directs work of nursing team members assigned (CNAs/CMTs, etc.).
• Administers and documents medications and treatments according to each resident’s medication schedule.
• Coordinates the nursing care of residents on the unit to ensure appropriate staffing and care.
• Notifies the physician of changes in status and implements new orders.
