This role is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing complex cardiovascular and interventional procedures, as well as managing acute and critical diagnoses. The RN functions with a high degree of clinical judgement, accountability, and critical thinking while collaborating within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.Patient Population & Clinical FocusThe RN will care for patients with, but not limited to:* Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)* Pacemaker placement* Peripheral vascular procedures* Interventional radiology (IR) procedures* Respiratory failure* DKA/insulin drips* Post–STEMI recovery* Other acute and complex cardiac and critical care diagnosesFunctions independently and accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Coordinates the care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team. Delegates tasks appropriately. Identifies hospital resources. Serves as a clinical resource for new employees.
