Job summary

Pain Diagnostic and Treatment Center is hiring a Registered Nurse to join our team in California. This position offers Mon-Fri daytime hours with no weekends, nights, calls, or holidays.

You will implement physician orders and ensure continuity and quality of nursing care with emphasis on patient safety and privacy during perioperative care. Under the Clinical Director, you may assist physicians in procedure rooms, manage sterile technique and conscious sedation, and help with discharge

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current California RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications current.

Responsibilities

• Implement physician orders and maintain continuous and high-quality nursing care.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort and privacy at all times.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks and conscious sedation.
• Provide perioperative care for patients emerging from anesthesia.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient and family discharge.

Registered Nurse at Pain Diagnostic and Treatment Center

Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Director, the Registered nurse is responsible for implementing all physician orders, providing for the continuity and quality of nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patients'' condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all time. At times, assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation and utilizing sterile technique as deemed appropriate. Responsible for providing total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation. Responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current CA Registered Nurse License
• Current BLS and ACLS
• ASC experience a plus
• Good communication and human relations skills
• Ability to organize and follow through on own initiative.
• Thorough knowledge of all phases of perioperative process including knowledge of surgical procedures and anesthesia implications.

Hourly Range: $48- $66(based on experience)
