• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 1 year of Nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent, comprehensive care to adults and adolescents presenting to the ED with acute sexual assault and/or non-fatal strangulation.
• Follow protocols under supervision to ensure patient-centered care.
• Collaborate with ED staff and Forensic Nursing Team to document and manage care.

Under the supervision of the FNE/SANE Supervisor and Sexual Assault Clinic Medical Director, with orders when necessary, from the Emergency Department Provider, the Forensic Nurse Examiner follows protocols to provide independent, comprehensive care to adults and adolescents presenting to the Emergency Department with a complaint of acute sexual assault and/or non-fatal strangulation.

Required Qualifications:
