Job summary

Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is seeking a Registered Nurse to support the I-CORT team in McComb, MS. The RN will guide patients to appropriate supports to maximize health and wellness, provide community-based nursing services, and cover multiple counties in Southwest Mississippi with on-call duties.

The role emphasizes face-to-face and remote interactions to maintain individuals in the community, with 50 years of service in the Pine Belt region and a wide multi-county service area.

Qualifications

• ADN in Nursing required.
• Valid RN license in MS required.
• Must have valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
• Auto insurance liability limits 100,000/300,000/50,000 within 30 days of hire.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Working knowledge of mental health symptoms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guides each patient to appropriate supports to maximize health and wellness.
• Maintains client services records in EMR per PBMHR, DMH, CARF standards.
• Monitors and administers medications and injections as needed.
• Tracks progress and follows up after discharge.
• Performs nursing assessment and evaluation/therapy.
• Participates in interdisciplinary treatment team staffings.
• Provides clinical therapy and emergency services to consumers and families.
• May transport consumers in personal vehicle.
