Job summary

Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, part of Baylor Scott & White Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Float Pool on a night shift (7:00pm–7:00am) specializing in telemetry. Floats to Med/Surg, Telemetry, ICU and PCU, with opportunity to work across high-acuity units.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, 2+ years Med Telemetry experience, BLS within 30 days, and Float Pool experience preferred. Competitive benefits and relocation assistance offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
• 2+ years of Med Telemetry experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Float Pool experience is highly desired but not required.
• Med Tele candidates with insulin, stable drips, NIH assessment highly desired but not required.
• BLS – Basic Life Support required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide telemetry monitoring and direct patient care.
• Float to Med/Surg, Telemetry, ICU, and PCU units as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, quality patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Float Pool experience highly desired, but not required
