Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care from birth through the lifecycle in a collaborative hospital setting. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while adhering to organizational policies and standards.

Stay engaged with a positive team, participate in clinical processes, and contribute to exceptional patient outcomes. Georgia licensure and BCLS are required; advanced certifications are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• RN license in Georgia (state licensure or multi-state license).
• BCLS certification required.
• Advanced certification in specialty area if applicable.

Responsibilities

• The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Functions within organization policies and demonstrates professional growth and accountability.

Responsibilities

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Qualifications

Work Experience

• No experience required New Graduates of a nursing program eligible Required
• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNCL Multistate License. Required and
