Job Duties

• Specialized Diploma from an accredited school of nursing (required).
• Patient‑ and Family‑Centered Practice: knowledge of conveying respect and collaboration in care planning.

• Effective Communication: ability to transmit, receive, and interpret ideas through appropriate communication behaviors.
• Patient Assessment and Care: knowledge of assessing patient ailments and implementing treatment plans.
• Patient and Designated Care Partner Education: knowledge of child and adult education techniques to elicit learning priorities and educate on conditions, treatments, and recovery steps.
• Medication Administration and Prescription: knowledge of medications and ability to administer and prescribe for ongoing treatment.
• Discharge Planning: knowledge of post‑discharge needs and ability to develop and arrange discharge plans.
• Assessment and Diagnosis: use of tools for patient assessment and nursing diagnosis.
• Health Information Documentation: ability to record medical histories, vital signs, medications, diagnoses, and treatment plans in written or electronic form.

Professional Credentials

• BLS – Basic Life Support (required).
• AHA – American Heart Association certification (required).
• RN license in the state of practice: Pennsylvania or New Jersey (required).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s DegreeBSN or completion of BSN or appropriate advanced degree within 3 years of hire (strongly preferred).
• Previous experience as an RN in an acute‑care setting (~1 year) (strongly preferred).

Additional Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice (required).

Work Schedule

Regular employee, full‑time day or night shift (United States of America).
