Job summary

East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, GA seeks a skilled Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care across units. You will use the nursing process, coordinate with physicians and staff, and ensure high-quality, safe patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN license required or restrict supervision/ licensure by state.
• Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and documentation.
• Knowledge of nursing process, clinical protocols, and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care following nursing process and clinical protocols.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to develop individualized care plans.
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in CPR/ALS as needed.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge plans.
• Maintain infection control practices and ensure patient safety.
