Job summary

Essentia Health in Virginia, Minnesota is seeking a Registered Nurse to join an accomplished team in rural healthcare. This 36-hour-per-week role features 12-hour Day/Night shifts with a Baylor schedule including Fridays through Sundays coverage.

Candidates must hold current MN RN licensure, obtain BCLS within one month, and possess a BSN or ADN from an accredited program. Preferred CCU/ER experience; hiring incentives up to $7,500 (ADN) and $10,000 (BSN) are available.

Education Qualifications:

Responsible for organizing and providing nursing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation and job descriptions. Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.

FTE/Schedule:

• FTE: 36 hours per week (paid for 40 hours)

• Shift: 12 hour shift; Day/Night rotation

• Day Shift: 7:00AM - 7:30PM

• Overnight Shift: 7:00PM - 7:30AM

• Works Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (Baylor Position)

Qualified candidates may be eligible for a hiring incentive of up to $7,500 (ADN) and up to $10,000 (BSN)

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month
