Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience in an acute care or hospital setting.
• Strong knowledge of nursing principles, patient care standards, and healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in multiple hospital units as assigned, adapting quickly to different clinical environments.
• Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and implement nursing interventions per physician orders.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans.
• Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic health records, maintaining confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and changes in condition, escalating when needed.
• Educate patients and families on health management, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Participate in unit-based meetings, training sessions, and quality improvement initiatives.
