Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing individualized nursing care to residents at Good Samaritan, applying the nursing process from assessment through evaluation. Collaboration with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team ensures planning and delivering quality care in a Christian, not-for-profit environment.

May serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff while ensuring safe, reliable care and adherence to nursing standards and ethics.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• RN license in the state of practice with required competencies.
• Drug Screen and pre-employment background screening are conditions of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team to plan and evaluate care.
