Job summary

Huntsville Hospital Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver patient care through the nursing process, coordinating all aspects of care in collaboration with the care team. The position requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, at least two years of RN experience in Surgical Services, Critical Care, or Medical-Surgical units, and Alabama RN

Qualifications

• Graduate of a School of Professional Nursing; must provide documented evidence to perform waived testing
• 2 years RN nursing experience in Surgical Services, Critical Care, or Medical-Surgical Nursing
• License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alabama. Current BLS certification. ACLS certification required or obtained within 90 days of employment

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care using established nursing processes (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation)
• Coordinate and direct nursing care in collaboration with other disciplines to achieve expected patient outcomes
