Blanchard Valley Health System is seeking an RN to coordinate total nursing care, teach patients and families, and provide leadership in a busy unit. You will use the nursing process to assess and plan care, communicate with the care team, and ensure high standards of patient safety and satisfaction.
The role requires current RN licensure, BCLS within 6 months, and the ability to deliver age-appropriate care while collaborating with physicians and supervising support staff.
Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, Clinical Manager or designee, coordinates total nursing care for patients. Participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working cooperatively in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.

This position requires a full range of body motion with intermittent activities in walking, sitting, lifting, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting and standing. The associate will be required to lift 50 pounds or more. This position requires individuals to lift work above the shoulder. The associate must have corrected vision and hearing in the normal range. Individual must have excellent verbal communication skills to perform daily tasks. This position is classified “at risk” for possible occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens (HBV, HIV, etc.)
