Job summary

Generations Applewood in Matteson, Illinois is seeking Registered Nurses with 1–2 years of skilled nursing or LTACH experience. We offer Part-Time on Days, Full-Time on Evenings, and Full-Time or Part-Time Nights, all with every-other-weekend schedules.

The role pays $40–44 per hour depending on benefits selected, plus a $2/hour bonus when assigned to the Respiratory/Complex Care unit and a $2/hour shift differential for Evening and Night shifts.

Qualifications

• RN license from Illinois is required.
• 1–2 years of nursing experience in skilled nursing or LTACH settings.
• New grads are not being considered at this time.
• Strong organizational skills and confidentiality (HIPAA).
• Compassion and understanding for older adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to residents per unit protocols.
• Monitor health status, administer medications, and document care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care.

Generations at Applewood is seeking RNs with at least 1-2 years experience working in skilled nursing or LTACH settings. No new grads at this time due to staffing needs on our Complex Care/Respiratory Unit.

New Opportunities:

• Part-Time on Days (7a-3p) Includes every other weekend
• Full-Time on Evenings (3p-11p) Includes every other weekend
• Full-Time or Part-Time Nights (11p-7a) Includes every other weekend

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license from the State of Illinois

• Previous experience in a Nursing Home or Long-Term Care facility preferred

• Strong organizational skills; detail oriented

• Exceptional critical thinking skills

• High level of professionalism and confidentiality, in compliance with HIPAA standards

• Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding for older adults
